Red Riding Bell Sleeve Dress

1

Spring is officially here and so is the time to shed those hot haute layers. Spring in Assam, where I come from, is represented by the color red and also called the season of love. No wonder I have this affinity for all things scarlet and being a hopeless romantic comes so naturally to me. Surprisingly this outfit post syncs right in with all of this. I am in love with this dress, I have always wanted to buy a red dress but nothing ever clicked, until I saw this one. The bell sleeves, the v neck and the shift fit, all things I like wearing in one; could not have asked for more in my budget. I am sure, going forward I will find numerous excuses to wear it on repeat.

If you follow my updates you will know I am not much of an accessory person but when the accessorizing is minimal and color coded, I am all game! Which is when the skinny scarf I have been dying to post about came into use and these beautiful lace up flats, I received as gifts, complemented it all so well. I completed the look with a box clutch. This is a very date appropriate spring look, also good for ladies who brunch.

For a more boho chic vibe you can add a choker neckpiece, put your hair in a low braided bun, and throw in a duffle bag and some ghillie sandals or a pair of oxford shoes or even transitional spring boots.

If this outfit rings your fashion bells, leave me your comments below.

Love,

Karabi.
