I am super excited blogging about this outfit, reason being this is one of my favorite most look so far. This jumpsuit was an unsure buy from ASOS but once I put it on, the feelings went from ‘nay’ to ‘yay’ in a split second. It fits so well, the one shoulder lets me show off my shoulder (my favorite body part to reveal in any look), the small cut out makes it subtly sexy, and the palazzo flares are the comfiest thing about the jumpsuit. This is one piece of item in my closet that I can wear any day when am confused or even for a pick me up and the compliments come pouring always.
Right now, the 60’s and 70’s fashion is making a major comeback all over and this look carries that kind of old world glamour, fitting in perfectly. The PU leather jacket was a last minute buy too, (this proves how impulsive a shopper I am!) but it’s so edgy in the most me way. The safety pin detail gives off a very rocker vibe. With two statement pieces put together like this, it was only obvious to keep the rest basic. This is why I picked a structured box clutch (trending big time this year!) and my go to pumps.
While editing the pictures, I realized the background is red and it’s Valentine’s Day, how apt right! This valentine’s day instead of doing anything for anyone else or with anyone else I have decide to spend it with myself and do the things I love. It’s high time my ‘love yourself’ preaching came back to me and hit me right where I got over being okay with always playing safe and letting myself be an option to please everyone in my life. So, if you are in love and with your loved ones all well and good but if not, know that in some corner of the world I am picking my glass up to toast with you and our fabulous selves!
P.S. If you are confused about your look for Valentine’s Day, this can be a great idea for a romantic yet edgy look. Just make sure you pick a well fitted jumpsuit and if you pick one with cropped flares, lace up flats are always a good idea 🙂
Happy love day and love year and forever.
